as you know, russia surprisingly won the european championships in spain 2 weeks ago. and judging by kadour ziani’s recent trip to moscow, there is reason to believe, that there is a lot more to come. young russians love themselves some hoops! kadour “the godfather of dunk” was welcomed like a king and followed like a shadow non-stop. unfortunately, he was not able to participate in the moscow dunk contest due to a nagging knee-injury, but take a look at some of the action by clicking the video below.

k1x’s inofficial miss magic 2007 pageant is officially over - and a winner has been crowned. well, two actually, as #1 and #6 both received the exact same number of votes, namely 13. so a box-fresh pair of chiefgliders go to: rene peth (germany) and to massimo tuomala (finnland).

the european championships in madrid (shout out to russian k1x warrior sergey beykov for snatching the coveted crown!) threw a huge streetball event ouside of the main gym, which drew thousands of spectators nightly, and featured some of the finest international ball handlers, dunkers, tricksters and heads: bobbito garcia, bizz banascus, fabian greiser, yah bakayoko, kadour ziani, kevin lescot, kev couliau and many more. obviously, k1x was in full effect. see pics below …
