here’s ron ron entering staples center for game 4 of the nba finals, reppin’ nyc & k1x…
can new york get any crazier? yes, it definitely can! once a year, the big apple celebrates it’s puerto rican community by going completely nuts at the puerto rican day parade. the annual party pops off this sunday along 5th avenue from 44th street to 86th street.
and k1x has really pulled a rabbit out the hat for this one: the strictly business pr edition (most notably sported by k1x warriors rick apodaca & joell ortiz) celebrates it’s exclusive launch at selected foot lockers (available only in nyc & pr!!) TODAY. get yours now…

streetballin.net just published this interview with corey “homicide” williams. it talks about homicide, international play, nyc play and a whole lotta streetball…read the whole thing here…

You found something on the k1x blog that you liked? A new video of our k1x warriors, an interview with your favourite player or a product from our brand new colletion. Now you can tell everybody - your friends, your team mates, your family – about it. Simply use the new “tell a friend” feature and let everbody know what’s going on in the nation of hoop.

yo yo yo, your boys and girls at k1x wish all you ballplayers and heads out there a very happy christmas and all the best feat. a ton of k1x stuff for 2008!
see some pictures of our annual x-mas party below: as usual, we went bowling, had some really bad food and then turned edmoses bar inside-out. special shout out goes to the our all-time favorite mommy carmen, who made even big man les look like a rookie. big up to the beatin’ bros (k’s & fu), who made 97,1 fm’s old-school at noon jealous with their tracks. peace out to rob & enrico, who went at each others throats like sprewell & coach carlesimo. one love to the fam for being just that!

also some other important members of the nation of hoop did not let the chance pass by to give a shout out for the holidays. it’s greatly appreciated.

for those who don’t know, now you know: the scariest big man on new york’s streetball circuit is now officially a k1x warrior - welcome to the fam dee pee! playing professionally on spain’s second divison powerhouse in zaragoza (7:2), this weekend phillip and his squad took on second place team alicante, and crushed them 84:60 on their home turf. the big man, who many know mainly by his legendary street-name “primal fear”, led the way with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. dp’s season-stats currently rank him second in ppg (20.3), third in efficiency (21.6), along with 6.7 rebounds per game. ay caramba!

this short clip just hit us from toronto, canada. it features “ball 4 life” player mike “ghost” zanidean and some sorry dudes trying to get in his way. sometimes it’s hard to understand why people would wanna attract ridicule like that, but hey, every man has a right to make his own decisions. so if you decide you gotta challenge ghost, come and do it at the magic trade show in las vegas (august 27th - 30th), where the k1x cage (booth # 30506) will feature the likes of homicide, underwood, a-$, and ghost himself. that way, we all get a laugh out of it.
after winning “best booth” award at the last las vegas shoe convention “wsa” in febuary, k1x made another gate-crashing visit last week, presenting freshest footwear styles for spring/summer 2008. (and some brand new silhouettes, which you will be seeing here first! when the time is right.)
here’s a short recap: all in all, it was a quiet show but k1x wasn’t gonna have it. with the bumpin sounds of g-minor and c-viz on the mic, the k1x cage was bumpin’ & thumpin’. obviously, homicide, underwood, a-$, drez (aka hater) and ceez did their part - probably didn’t hurt that there was money on the line … the action drew some major crowds and serious hating from our next door neighbour and the wsa sound police, who were looking to pull the plug. but that’s like telling kobe to pass the rock.
see you at magic, where nyc finest ballplayers and a xxl freestyle battle feat. joell ortiz will be on hand to rock the boat proper-like …
here’s a shot of homicide in the cage, presenting his signature k1x streetball shoe, “187″ (launch early 2008, which is why we’re gonna keep it a secret from you guys just a little longer ).

read what nyc basketball-icon bobbito garcia aka kool bob love had to say in ny’s nr. 1 streetball-blog “bounce magazine”, about rick apodaca’s sterling performance for team k1x …

it’s been a long time, since we left you, with a dope beat to step to…
don’t call it a comeback, but the steamiest party since, well - since authorities forced us to shut down a year ago, is back on track. with a vengeance. and on the beach.
munich city beach that is. every friday. this week, we feature dj petko (baby) and a whole lotta freaks. come round for a good time …
