[Corey “Homicide“ Williams has obviously made the right decision by signing with the Dakota Wizards in late February. The Wizards beat Williams’ former team the Sioux Falls Skyforce 115-113 on Saturday. They will now face the Colorado 14ers on Sunday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m. CT.
“Homicide” and his Dakota Wizards now have a shot at the NBDL title at the Bismarck Civic Center after winning 19 of their 25 home games this season.
Corey Williams has contributed 14.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest in the 20 games he has played for the Eastern Conference champion. In the Conference Finals against Sioux Falls he was one of the reasons why the Wizards made it past the Skyforce, pouring in 16 points (on 6-9 from the field) and 6 assists in just 21 minutes.
“Homicide”, who is probably going to be a starter for Sunday’s game, is now trying to put an exclamation point behind a very successful season in the NBDL.
