streetball bible bounce magazine just dropped their new issue, another classic. the cover alone is legendary. especially for us, as it features the real ron artest: ron ron haninging out with the kids in queensbridge. the bk/red reversible jersey sets the kids are wearing in the pic are o.g. k1x jerseys we made up for ron & jose’s (wadup big fella!) aau team “triple threat tru wariers” a while back. it’s good to see they’re still the craze in queensbridge.
ron artest was probably the stand-out baller in new york city this summer. gotta love an nba player who works the street courts in his off-season on a daily basis. even with only just one fron tooth we might add. but corey “homicide” williams was the man who owned new york’s most respected tourney this summer: pro city. take a look at kyle henry’s account of why hunter college was the place to be and how homicide left his footprints by clicking the images below …
we just received this clip from a bball tourney in romania (where there seems to be a alot of dunking going on lately). it features team flight brothers aces guy dupuy, troy mccray, justin darlington and more working their magic. see guy fly over a car and doing his sick between the legs tea-bag dunk as well as troy devastating the rim and justin “the human catapult” darlington propelling himself to the rack. just click the image below…
sai-giddy about his highly anticipated album “the greatest story never told”, the general whackness of the major music industry, his incident with albert (prodigy, for those who don’t know) and a couple of other things like “ooh where’s my kitty-kat”. he obviously likes to rock his special k1x/saigon tee which is highly appreciated!
The National Basketball League has named Townsville Crocodiles import Corey ‘Homicide’ Williams as the Player of the Week for Round Two after leading his team to a perfect 2-0 record …
it’s getting colder pretty much everywhere, but they’re still hoopin in Canarias, Las Palmas. these pics were sent to us from the recent “urban lkxa 2.0″ 3 on 3 tourney, where “streetflavor” won the damn thing and took home 600 euros as extra lunch money. way to rep the nation of hoop fellas!
sneaker don bobbito garcia recently visited berlin city to promote europe’s freshest basketball venue, the o2 arena, home of the reigning german champs alba berlin. after hooping it up with k1x’s tom gabreezee and the live demo crew, bob saw alba taking on (and winning) vs. quarkenbrück in front of 14 800 fans (which is the second most ever for a german league game). the o2 arena will host the nba europe games in berlin when the wizards take on cp’s hornets on october 14th. see our friend kool bob love’s promo clip by clicking the image below…
